Sun Gro Professional Peat Moss

Sun Gro's select line of Canadian Sphagnum Peat Moss is 100% organic in nature. The high water retention and air holding characteristics make Sunshine Grower Grades ideally suited to the cultivation of most crops and other professional uses. Each of our bogs produces Sphagnum with texture and qualities unique to that bog and region. Because of this, Sunshine offers up to four different Grower Grades.

From harvesting to baling, each step of the process is continually monitored. Both raw materials and finished product are stringently inspected, ensuring the same consistent high performance with every bale. Sunshine—consistent quality more professionals trust!

Sunshine Grower Grade Green

Grower Grade Green is a short fiber professional peat moss, ideal when an intensely screened, stick-free growing media is required. It is most often used in the golf course construction trade, mushroom production, seed germination, plug production and other greenhouse uses.

Sunshine Grower Grade White

The most popular professional peat moss line, Grower Grade White has a fibrous consistency that improves aeration and increases drainage to promote plant root development. It is used through-out the greenhouse trade for vegetable and plant production, mushroom production and mixing your own growing media. It is widely used from flat production to larger pot and hanging basket production.

Sunshine Grower Grade Blue

Grower Grade Blue (Special Coarse) is the most fibrous professional peat moss. Visually, you will immediately notice that it is a very chunky peat, with a very high air capacity. It is suitable for orchids, azalea & camellia production, ground beds, bulbs, or when a highly porous mix is required for large containers.

This particular grade is available in limited quantities and is sold at a premium.
